In refuge receptacles having their own filling press, particular design difficulties arise when the filling press is to be arranged at the tail side, i.e. in the region of the tail flap (emptying flap). However, this arrangement is advantageous for charging a receptacle from ramps or conveyors since the receptacle can be set down directly by a transport vehicle with the filling press towards the charging site. Difficulties such as inadequate pressing action and unfavourable (tail-heavy) weight distribution which conventionally occur in such presses are eliminated by dividing up the region at the rear of the press with a predominantly horizontal partition wall over which the filling press is arranged and under which, in consequence of the elasticity of the refuge, a useable storage space is provided.
