PURPOSE:To perform easily and surely the balance modification of a high-speed rotary body, by fitting a sheet-like balance weight so that the center of gravity almost coincides with the shaft center of the main body of the rotary body which is rotated at a high speed and performing the balance modification by using the balance weight. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a rotary body 27 is assembled in such a way that a cylinder 18 is fitted from the outside to the fixed shaft 13 of a rotary polyhedron mirror optical deflector 10 and a motor rotor 19, polyhedron mirror 11, etc., are fitted to the cylinder 18. Then an assembled rotary body 29 is constituted in such a way that a circular-sheet-like balance weight 28 of lead plate is put and fixed between the motor rotor 19 and a fixing nut 23 and between a collar part 18a and tap nut 32, so that the center of gravity almost coincides with the shaft center of the rotary body 27. When the dynamic balance of the assembled body 29 is set, it is performed by appropriately shaving off the weight 28 with a knife, etc. Therefore, the balance modification of the high-speed rotary body can be made easily and surely. |
