<p>A baling press for fibrous materials, such as textile fibers, is equipped with a baling box into which a baling ram is movable under hydraulic or pneumatic pressure. The baling box is supported on a base and has hinged walls which are hinged to one another and/or to the base. These hingeable box walls are locked to each other in the box closing position by a piston cylinder locking device in which the piston rod is provided at its free end with a locking member which cooperates with a respective locking element attached to the adjacent wall.</p> |
