PURPOSE:To make compact and light weight a power source and a high voltage generator by installing a single-phase transformer in a power source, and connecting line voltage to the primary winding of the single-phase transformer, by using half- wave rectified voltage of the secondary winding voltage as pulse- wave voltage. CONSTITUTION:Line voltage is applied to the primary winding of a single-phase transformer T2 and a given high voltage is induced in the secondary winding, and half-wave voltage rectified with rectifiers D21 and D22 is applied between an anode and a cathode of an X-ray tube 1. A large number of rectifying devices may be connected in series to increase voltge resistance. A rotating body 3 is rotated in synchronizing with frequency of line power by function of PLL17, and pulse-wave of X-ray is radiated from the X-ray tube in synchronizing with frequency of line power. |
