PURPOSE:To enable increasing of a heat transfer capacitance without generating a heat transfer resistance by forming integrally by an aluminum extrusion die material a planar sheet part to which a heating element such as a large capacity thyristor or the like is directly fixed and a path part in which a passage for sealing therein a heat medium is provided. CONSTITUTION:Each heat pipe 10 is made by forming of an aluminum extrusion die material a planar sheet part 22 and a path part in which a passage 20 is provided, integrally and aligning bottom surface of the same plane. Further, on both horizontal ends of the heat pipe 10, connecting parts 26 and 28 are formed, and coupled by caulking. Since one heat pipe 10 is provided with four path parts, for example, and the passage 20 for the heat medium is formed in each path part, the heat transfer capacitance of the heat pipe is large. Since the path part 24 and the sheet part 22 are integrally formed and metal structures are continued, the heat resistance is small and the flow of heat from the path part 24 is transmitted rapidly to the sheet part 22. The flow of heat which has been transmitted to the sheet part 22 is transmitted to a thyristor 30 closely attached to the lower surface 25 of the sheet part 22 to cool the thyristor 30. |
