SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase battery capacity by stacking thinned polyacetylene film and placing metal mesh between these films when the same volume of polyacetylene electrode is used. CONSTITUTION:Each three layers of polyacetylene film having a thickness of 160mum and a density of 0.9 are used in both electrodes. A polypropylene nonwoven sheet impregnated with electrolyte is used as a separator 5. 100mum thick metal meshes 31 are placed between each of polyacetylene films 4 to improve electrolyte flow. By this construction, the surface area in contact with electrolyte is increased and doping area of dopant is also increased to increase battery capacity although the volume of polyacetylene electrode is same.
