PURPOSE:To further widen a visual field by setting differently the inclined angles of surfaces of total reflection installed to both surfaces of a lens element having a total reflection body constituting a longitudinal lenticular. CONSTITUTION:This screen is mainly composed of lens elements 11 equipped with surfaces of total reflection T, by which a light arriving as a lenticular at the surface A of the observing side is irradiated by transmitting through a crest surface P after it is totally reflected once, and cylindrical lens elements 12 having a circular or noncircular cross section are combined to the lens elements 11. Moreover, the lens elements 11 are constituted in such a way that the inclined angles of the surfaces of total reflection installed to both sides of the element 11 are differently set and lights irradiated from the surfaces of total reflection are totally balanced. By using such an arrangement, the irradiating range of the lens elements can be controlled appropriately and the visual field can be widened further. |
