PURPOSE:To lessen the amount of air bubbles to be generated with the changes of temperatures as well as quickly discharge air bubbles generated by directly connecting an ink container to a printing head having an air bubbles interruption small tube on the end of a supply path leading to a pressure chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a control signal is applied to a piezo-electric element 14 during the printing period, ink is jetted from the nozzle 2 with the variations in the volume of a pressure chamber 3, and a given printing is made by the reciprocal movement of the head. Even when air bubbles 36 are taken in the ink 35 of an ink container 8 during the reciprocal movement, the air bubbles 36 go up and do not reach an air bubble interruption small tube 6 on the end of the ink supply path 7 to the pressure chamber 3. Even when air bubbles 36 reach the small tube 6, larger sizes of bubbles 36 fail to go into the small tube 6 and go up along the slope 31, and air bubbles coming into the small tube 6 do not affect the injection of ink because of very fine size of bubbles. Since the ink container 8 is connected directly to the printing head, the amount of air bubbles to be generated with the change of temperatures is lessened. |
