<p>A toothpick is formed from a laminate synthetic plastics foam section of three millimetres thickness comprising expanded polystyrene foam flanked at one or both sides by a polyvinyl chloride layer having a smooth outer surface. An alternative toothpick comprises a basically planar strip of sheet polystyrene or sheet acetate shaped to define a pointed end and a handle end, the toothpick having corrugations, towards its pointed end, at one or both of its longitudinal edges.</p> |
