PURPOSE:To suppress the adverse influence of the vibration of a rotational shaft to the read-out of digitized data with a simple structure by disposing a pair of brushes substantially perpendicular to the moving direction of a pickup. CONSTITUTION:A pair of brushes 26 are disposed substantially perpendicularly to the moving direction of a pickup 29. According to this structure, the compliance of the tracking direction of a rotational shaft is improved. Accordingly, the vibration of the shaft in the tracking direction can be rapidly suppressed. The vibration of the shaft in a linear speed diretion can be rapidly suppressed since an oil film is already formed on the contacting part between the shaft and bearing at the normal rotation time and braking is applied. |
