PURPOSE:To obtain a camera with a data imprinting function which is small in size, lightweight and good in character quality by making use of an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:When a shutter is pressed in order to take a photograph, a lamp 10 emits light. This light is made into uniform surface scattered light by a surface emission plate 11, and as it passes an optical fiber 12, parallel rays are obtd. The parallel rays go to an LCD panel 13, where necessary data is imprinted on a film 14 in accordance with the preset data. The decrease in the quality of light to be resulted from the passage through a fiber 13 is very slight. Since there is no need for a reflection plate for bending the light from the lamp at a right angle, the reduction in cost is possible and the reliability is improved. The imprinting quality of the data on the film is considerably improved as the clean parallel rays are obtainable. |
