PURPOSE:To obtain a camera with a data imprinting function which is safe, quick and is easy to use by providing an independent controller having a function for transferring data. CONSTITUTION:When data is inputted by a keyboard 11 in an input controller 10 according to the instruction on a display 12, the data on the necessary items of a name, age, etc. are successively stored therein. When the operator pushes a transfer button 17, the stored data are transmitted from a signal transmission part 13. The signal is received by a signal reception part 14 of a camera and is displayed on a display 15 for monitoring. The data received from the input controller in the data imprinting camera is fed by a control circuit 36 to a display control circuit 32, and when the transfer of the whole data is completed, an OK sign appears on the display and the camera is ready to imprint the data on a film. When the shutter of the camera is pushed, the data is fed from a memory circuit 31 to an imprinting driver 34, and is further fed to a data imprinting element 35, by which the necessary data is imprinted on the film. |
