PURPOSE:To miniaturize an ultrasonic wave delay line and to constitute the delay line easily adjusted for the delay time and inexpensively manufactured by splitting an ultrasonic wave medium into two and adhering closely the split faces polished with adjusted delay time. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic wave delay medium 1 is split into two parts 1', 1'' and electrodes 2, 2', transducers 3, 4, electrodes 5, 6 by the method such as vapor deposition as in conventional way, transducers 3, 4, electrodes 5, 6 by the vapor deposition on the transducers, and input/output leads 7, 8, 7', 9 are provided to the respective one end of the parts 1', 1'' to constitute ultrasonic wave delay elements E1, E2. After djusting the delay time by polishing at least one split face of aplit faces 11, 11' of the elements E1, E2, the split faces are bonded, one end of a frame 13 is provided with a buffer member 14, the split faces 11, 11' are pressed to the other end with a screw 15 to form the ultrasonic wave delay line and a sound wave propagating path 10, allowing to constitute an ultrasonic wave delay line device. |
