PURPOSE:To output an output pattern for on/off control over an external device when a sequence controller is not in operation and to operate the external device to a safety side by providing a setting and registering means for setting said output pattern when the sequence controller is not in operation. CONSTITUTION:The sequence controller consists of an input part I, controller part C, output part O, and program device P, and the controller part C is provided with a CPU1, output registration memory 4, stop request generating circuit 5, and self-diagnosing circuit 6. The device P is provided with a key read circuit 2 and an output data registering circuit 3, which is connected to the memory 4 of the control part C. The circuit 2 recognizes and discriminates the key operation of the device P and when a key indicates output registration, on/off data is written in the memory 4 by the circuit 2. When the circuit 6 detects abnormality, the data is read out of the memory 4 by the CPU1 and outputted to the external device, which is operated to the safety side. |
