PURPOSE:To improve the discharging characteristic of a rotary electric machine by winding a piano wire as a metal on the outer periphery of a stator frame so that the frame is closely contacted with a stator core, thereby efficiently dissipating inner heat externally. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical stator frame 2 is engaged with the outer periphery of a stator core 3, and end brackets 6 are set to positions contacted with the inner periphery of both ends of the frame 2. A piano wire 26 is wound on the outer periphery of the frame 2 at a mandrel shaft 21 in the state that tension is applied by a tensioning unit 23. Thereafter, the both ends of the inner periphery of the frame 2 and the outer periphery of the core 3 are welded, and end brackets 6 are welded to the inner periphery at both ends of the frame 2. Then, the piano wire 26 is welded to the ends of strips 1 formed along the outer periphery of the frame 2. |
