PURPOSE:To rotate or linearly drive a moving element with a simple structure by energizing a coil member provided on a plurality of moving elements, thereby generating magnetically attracting or repelling force. CONSTITUTION:The first moving element 1 movable on a plane has first opposing element 2 and the second opposing element 3 manufactured by a soft magnetic material, and the elements 2, 3 have at both ends first opposing surfaces 4, 5 and second opposing surfaces 6, 7. A coil 8 for generating a magnetic flux to pass through the surfaces 4, 6 is provided at the element 2, and a coil 9 is provided at the element 3. The coils 8, 9 are energized to generate magnetic poles on the opposed surface, and the element 1 is rotated or linearly moved by utilizing the magnetically attracting or repelling force. The second moving element 13 is similarly composed. |
