PURPOSE:To improve the response of a self-excited power converter by establishing a DC voltage and instantaneously applying the prescribed control angle to the power converter, thereby eliminating the soft starting of the converter. CONSTITUTION:The output of a DC voltage detector 41 and the control signal of a calculator which inputs a power system detection voltage are inputted to a control angle setter 43 for starting time. The output and the output of an error amplifier 24 are applied through a changeover switch 44 to an analog memory 65, and the output signal of an analog memory 45 is inputted to one input of a voltage controller 26. The amplifier 24 amplifies the difference between the reactive power reference and the output of a reactive power detecror 23. |
