PURPOSE:To measure the unbalance of the charge in a blast furnace in its circumferential direction by making the raw material of half the one side in the transverse direction of a charging belt conveyor then charging the raw material into the blast furnace, drawing the raw material with sampling boxes provided in several positions in the circumferential direction of the furnace inside and measuring the ratios at which the markers appear. CONSTITUTION:Marks are put on the raw material of half the transverse direction of a charging belt conveyor 5 of a blast furnace by a making device 15 on a feeder 14 for feeding out the material from a surge hopper, whereafter the material is charged to the blast furnace top. The raw material charged into the furnace is sampled by sampling boxes 12 provided in plural places in the circumferential direction of the blast furnace. The ratios at which the markers appear are measured with the respective boxes 12, and the degree of nonuniformity with respect to the amt., grain sizes and brand of the charge are estimated from said ratios. |
