<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out the control so that the user can set the drive starting time of heating means and the total quantity of hot water produced in a day and to enable arbitrarily varying the above setting without being limited by the capacity of the hot water storage tank. CONSTITUTION:When a time-timer adjuting switch 19 is used, and time setting and timer setting are carried out, main control means 17 stores them, and displays them on a time-timer indicator 18. When a quantity of hot water is set by a hot water quantity adjusting switch 20, a microcomputer 17 stores it. In this case, when it is assumed that the overall capacity of a hot water storage tank 1 is 200 liters, each of the capacities of a second thermistor 12 and downward is 50 liters, and a prest quantity of hot water is 300 liters, water in the entire hot water storage tank is heated up once. Thereafter, at a point in time when water reaches the second thermistor 12 by the water supply, the apparatus is again operated to subject water in the second thermistor 12 and downward to ''after-burning''. When this ''after-burning'' is carried out twice, hot water in a grand total of 300 liters can be supplied. Further, in a case where the quentity of water to be heated is decreased by the hot water supply and the like, an after burning heating operation is automatically started. When the grand total of the quantity of water to be initially heated and the quantity of water to be after-burnt reaches a set quantity of water to be heated, the heating operation is stopped to make it possible to set the quantity of hot water more than the capacity of the hot water storage tank.</p> |
