PURPOSE:To perform automatic thawing and cooking of a frozen food, by a method wherein an absolute humidity in an agitating atmosphere is periodically detected, and the operation of a high frequency oscillator is controlled according to an absolute humidity change amount per unit time. CONSTITUTION:When energization of a heater 21b for cleaning is disconnected, the temperature of a humidity detecting element 21a decresaes, the element is divested of thermistor characteristic at a point of time when the temperature attains 150 deg.C, humidity therearound may be detected, but absolute humidity in high temperature atmosphere is as low as about 0% and attains a point (b). An agitating fan 19 starts to actuate from a point (a) to speed up cooling of a humidity sensor 21, the temperature is further decreased to the normal temperature, and from a point (c) where the temperature attains the same temperature as that of a temperature sensor 22, detecting of absolute humidity is practicable. At the point (c), the humidity sensor 21 checks for humidity to determine a steam detecting level W. In the case of frozen mince ball, the method of detecting steam is such that minimum value of humidity after starting of heating is stored, and a time T, elapsing until attaining the steam detecting level W previously determined in relative thereto, is measured to establish it as function to effect control of operation. |
