PURPOSE:To simplify structure and reduce cost of the captioned truck by providing a freely swivelling frame on the truck main body and also providing a lock device which fixes the frame along with a universal wheel which follows a travelling wheel so that steerage of the truck main body can be performed by means of a travelling motor. CONSTITUTION:A fixable swivel axis 2 projecting downward is installed in the central part of a truck main body 1, and a frame 4 is pivoted to said axis through a bearing 3. The frame 4 is equipped with travelling motors 5, 5', to which travelling wheels 6, 6' are fitted. Further, a swivel lock device 8 is provided on the undersurface of the truck main body 1, a hook 7 of which can be fitted in grooves 9, 10 made in the frame 4, while universal wheels 11 are installed in four corners of the truck main body 1. Now, in case of putting the truck main body 1, for example, in straight travelling rightward in the illustration, the hook 7 is fitted in the groove 9 by means of the swivel lock device 8 and the travelling wheels 6, 6' are rotated by means of the travelling motors 5, 5' in the same direction with the same number of rotations. |
