PURPOSE:To prevent the vapour lock of brake oil, by driving a fan motor when the heated temperature of a disk brake is higher than a predetermined temperature, to cool the disc brake irrespective of the temperature of engine cooling water. CONSTITUTION:A drive motor 9 for a cooling fan 4 for cooling a radiator 3, is connected to both a first circuit which is in turn connected to a battery 12 through a thermo-switch 10 closed when the temperature of engine cooling water is higher than a predetermined temperature and an ignition switch 11, and a second circuit 15 connected to the battery 12 through a relay 14. Further, upon braking of a disc drum 7, if the heated temperature of a disc brake 6, due to friction heat, is higher than a set temprature, a temperature detector 16 issues an output to close the relay 14. Thereby, the motor 9 is operated to rotate the fan 4 so that a part of cooling air is blown to the disc brake 6 through a duct 8 to cool the disc brake 6. |
