PURPOSE:To improve the thermal transfer rate, color formation density, the wear resistance of an ink layer and the like in a thermal transfer color recording method by having a thermal transferring dye contained in a porous section of a thin sheet material with a fine porous mesh-like structure whose one side is closed by a resin. CONSTITUTION:A color sheet 2 composed of a paper or a synthetic paper 2a having a fine porous mesh-like structure, an impregnated resin 2b, a thermal transferring dye 2c and a binder 2d and one side thereof is closed with the resin 2b. Heat fed from a thermal head 1 is transmitted effectively with an aid of the impregnated resin 2b so that a dye 2c of an ink layer comprising the dye 2c and the binder 2d is thermally transferred onto a image receiving paper 3 according to heat level. Thus, a color formed image 3a is formed by a reaction or a diffusion. |
