PURPOSE:To maintain a complete combustion and to extend the service life of the titled device, by providing a plurality of internal fins so as to introduce combustion gas into a clearance defined between the outer periphery of combustion cylinder and the plurality of internal fins. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of fins 5 is provided at a heat exchanger in the internal axial direction thereof, and a combustion cylinder 6 extended from a burner section is provided in the vicinity of the top end part of this fin, while an opening 6' is defined at the downstream of combustion gas inside the combustion cylinder. The combustion gas 2' reverses its direction of flow at the opening 6' to pass through the clearance defined between the outer periphery of combustion cylinder 6 and an internal fin 4. When the combustion gas passes therethrough, heat exchange is effected between the combustion gas 2' and the internal fin 4. The heat exchange is further facilitated by means of buffle plate 8. The heat is subsequently transmitted from the internal fin 4 to the outer fin 5. Since a flame does not directly contact with the internal fin of heat exchanger and besides a space is formed inside the combustion cylinder, it is possible to prevent the production of CO which would otherwise be provided due to the cooled flame, and thereby providing a complete combustion. |
