<p>In a multiple V-belt pulley, shaped from a shell-shaped plate blank (10) having an end wall (12) and a cylindrical wall (14) consisting of one piece therewith, the latter extending laterally from the end wall (12) and having an inner surface (24) and an outer surface (26), in which surfaces, in each case, a number of mutually alternating projections (30, 34) and grooves (28, 32) are constructed, in each case one groove (32) constructed in the inner surface (24) being aligned with a projection (34) in the outer surface (26) of the cylindrical wall (14), and a groove (28) in the outer surface (26) being aligned with a projection (30) in the inner surface (24), and the thickness of the cylindrical wall (14) between the bases of the grooves (28) in the inner surface (24) is considerably less than between the bases of the grooves (32) in the inner surface (24) and the projections (30) in the outer surface (26) and, furthermore, the depth of the grooves (28) in the outer surface (26) is greater than the depth of the grooves (32) in the inner surface (24), and the overall length of all the projections (34) in the inner surface (24) is significantly greater than the overall length of all the projections (30) in the outer surface (26), the projections (34) in the inner surface (24) forming a straight line in the axial direction of the cylindrical wall (14), interrupted by the grooves (32) in the inner surface. <IMAGE></p> |
