PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound important as an intemidiate for preparing an antimicrobial agent in high yield in high purity, by reacting a specific compound with boron trifluoride (complex) or borofluoric acid. CONSTITUTION:1mol compound shown by the formula I (R1 and R2 are H, or lower alkyl; X1 and X2 are halogen) is reacted with 1-50mol boron trifluoride, boron trifluoride complex (e.g., tetrahydrofuran complex of boron trifluoride, etc.) or borofluoric acid in an inert solvent at room temperature -150 deg.C, to give a pyridobenzoxazine derivative shown by the formula II. |
