PURPOSE:To prevent the wear and parmanent strain of the parts around hub- bolt holes of a hub mounting part by forming at least said parts with light alloy- fiber composite materials, in a disk wheel with several hub-bolt holes provided on said hub mounting part of its disk. CONSTITUTION:A disk wheel consists of a rim 2 in which a tire 1 is fitted and a disk 3 on the inside of the rim in an integrated form, and the disk 3 consists of a hub mounting part 5 and spokes 6. Fibers 12 are imbedded in at least the parts around the hub-bolt holes 8 of the hub-mounting part 5, constructing the part with light alloy-fiber composite materials. As for the fibers 12, SiC whiskers or short fibers are used as appropreate, being arranged perpendicularly or at an angle nearly perpendicular to the surface with which nuts are brought in contact. When manufacturing, hollow, cylindrical fiber moldings 13a, which are to surround the hub bolt hole 8, are placed in definite positions in a mold, and they are high-pressure cast using the melt of a light alloy. |
