A storage tube has a target, which consists of many capacitor elements and is positioned on the opposite side of the electron-beam source. One electrode of the capacitor element is connected to the common electrode. Each of the other electrodes closely faces the signal electrodes. The surface voltage (Vs) of the condenser elements is reduced as a durable voltage (Es) of the condenser w.r.t the target voltage(VT).
