The heat pump installation has a tap water tank (6) and a cooling medium circuit, the latter comprising an evaporator (5), a condenser (2,3), a compressor (1) and an expansion valve (4). Part (3) of the condenser is connected to a heating battery (10). The other part (2) of the condenser re-heats the tap water, whilst the first part partly heats the water through the heat battery, and partly pre-heats it. In the tap water tank lower part is a primary thermostat which activates the operation of the compressor. In the heat battery is a secondary thermostat (13) which controls the operation of a circulating pump (11) connected to the battery. The storage tank also acts as a buffer for the heating system. |
