PURPOSE:To uniformize a secondary electron emission ratio as well as to make a shading phenomenon in a pedestal waveform eliminable, by forming a secondary emission film on the surface of a pyroelectric target apart from a metal film that sets an effective range. CONSTITUTION:A pyroelectric type heating image camera tube is made up of a germanium face plate 1 transmitted by infrared rays, a target 2 composed of pyroelectrics, electrodes 5-8 focusing and accelerating an electron beam 4 out of a cathode 3. In addition, the target 2 is set up at the beam scanning side of a pyroelectric target 11 with an inner diameter phi1 of a metal film 13 which sets the effective range, while a secondary electron emission film 12 is set up at its inside with a smaller outer diameter phi2 than the inner one phi1 whereby it is made up. Therefore, a leakage of surface charge due to the electron emission out of the secondary electron emission film 12 can be checked so that no shading happens in a pedestal waveform and a uniform target surface can be secured. |
