PURPOSE:To minimize the number of types of sonobuoys and to increase the durability to electric jamming, by incorporating either one or both of frequency preset type transmitting and receiving circuits into a sonobuoy. CONSTITUTION:A transmission frequency setting circuit 1 supplies the frequency designating signal to a carrier wave generating circuit 2. The circuit 2 generates a carrier wave of the corresponding frequency by a digital waveform synthesizing means, a phase locked loop means, etc. and supplies the carrier wave to a modulating circuit 3. The circuit 3 modulates the underwater acoustic signal 5 supplied from another system by a carrier wave supplied from the circuit 2 and with a modulating system decided by another system request. Then the circuit 3 supplies a modulated wave to a transmitting circuit 4 of the corresponding band. Then a high frequency power output is supplied to an antenna after the power is amplified as desired. The high frequency power output is fed to the antenna and radiated in the form of a radio wave. |
