PURPOSE:To execute optionally the transfer of a bubble between each transfer line by providing a snake motion type conductor pattern on a gap part between the transfer lines so that a recessed part or a projecting part bridges a part of a transfer pattern. CONSTITUTION:A bubble is transferred to a position of 36 through positions of 34 and 35 on the second transfer line 22 by a counterclockwise in-face rotating magnetic field (hereinafter called only a rotating magnetic field), and when a current pulse is impressed to a snake motion type conductor pattern 24 in the direction as indicated with an arrow 25, a magnetic potential well is induced in an area 50 surrounded by a recessed part of the snake motion type conductor pattern 24 shown by hatching. When the current pulse is cut, the potential well disappeas, and a stripe-like bubble tends to contract to its original circular state. In this case, since the rotating magnetic field is directed to the direction as indicated with an arrow 27, the bubble contracts toward a position of 37. Thereafter, the bubble is transferred to a position of 38 along the third transfer line as this charged wall moves by the rotating magnetic field. |
