PURPOSE:To improve magnetic characteristics, such as a maximum energy product, and strength by a method wherein powder of crushed ingot is molded first and sintered subsequently, and then powder obtained by crushing the sintered substance again is mixed with macromolecular resin and molded. CONSTITUTION:Material arranged so that it comprises Sm of 22.5wt%, Fe of 19.5wt%, Cu of 4.9wt%, Zr of 2.5wt% and Co of the remainder is melted by high-frequency heating in an ambience of argon, and thereby ingot is obtained. After this ingot is crushed roughly, it is crushed into powder of fine particles by using a ball mill, and the powder thus obtained is molded under pressure and sintered in the ambience of argon. The sintered substance thus obtained is crushed again into magnet powder, and this powder is mixed with epoxy resin and molded in a magnetic field and under pressure. By this method, magnetic characteristics, a maximum energy product in particular, are improved remarkably. |
