PURPOSE:To obviate the generation of an error in quantitative determination by sucking surely a prescribed amt. of a sample, and detecting definitely abnormality such as lack of the sample. CONSTITUTION:When a driving device 1 operates and the pore of a metering cock 4 aligns with the pores of stationary cocks 10, 11 where a sample passes, a specified amt. of the sample is drawn into the pore by a sample suction pipe. When the pore aligns to the pore in which diluting liquid passes, the diluting liquid is fed by a diluting liquid pump and the sample in the pore is discharged into a diluted sample tank. When the pore aligns with the pore in which the sample passes, a washing liquid pump operates to supply a washing liquid and to wash the inside of the pipe. The liquid is discharged into a washing vessel. The outputs of air and sample sensors are compared with a reference voltage by the 1st and the 2nd comparators, by which a difference in the output is produced. The output is fed to a discrimination circuit which stops the sample suction pump on confirming that there is no foam and turns the cock 4 thereby diluting the sample. |
