PURPOSE:To obtain a memory checking device containing a function to confirm the address of a desired bit and to check the bit correlation, by displaying an optional address on a defective bit display device in the form of a luminous point. CONSTITUTION:A memory checker and a defective bit display device form a conventional checking device, and the luminance signal (Z) of a dot (on a screen of the defective bit display device) corresponding to a defective bit is changed. An optional address is set by a designation confirming device added newly and via a digit switch means, etc., and therefore the luminance signal (Z) of the dot corresponding to said optional address is changed. Then a desired address is displayed on the screen of the defective bit display device in the form of a luminous point. Thus the correspondence is secured between the dot and the address on the screen of the defective bit display device. |
