PURPOSE:To make a turning gear lockable at an optional position, by installing a fixed cam secured to a bracket centering on a shaft, a movable cam or a roller attached to a turning member being inset in the shaft and a spring energizing to press the movable cam or the roller down to the fixed cam, in the turning gear. CONSTITUTION:A fixed cam 4 is secured to a bracket 2 centering on a shaft 3. A movable cam 6 is attached to a turning member 5. One side face of the fixed cam 4 is made up of a flat surface 4b where concave parts 4a are provided at intervals of 90 deg., while one side face of the movable cam 6 is made up of a plane surface where projections 6a are provided in opposition to each other. The movable cam 6 is pressed against the side of the fixed cam 4 by dint of a spring 7, and with this pressing force, these projections 6a and concave parts 4a are engaged with each other, thus they are positioned right. As turning force acts thereat, the spring 7 yields to some extent and these projections 6a and concave parts 4a are unlocked but again locked at another position. For your information, rollers are available instead of these projections 6a, if necessary. |
