PURPOSE:To permit safe traveling of a car by detecting anomaly of an idling opening-degree detection signal by processing the both outputs of a throttle- valve opening-degree detection signal and an idling opening-degree detection signal. CONSTITUTION:A throttle sensor 7 equipped with a throttle-valve opening-degree detection part and an idle switch is installed onto a throttle body 6 equipped with a throttle valve 2, and the idle switch transmits an idling opening-degree detection signal Vid for discriminating the first case in which the throttle valve 2 has an opening degree less than a prescribed value from the second case in which the throttle valve 2 has the opening-degree of the predetermined value or above. The output signal of said sensor 7 is inputted into an electronic controller 10. In the controller 10, the signal Vid is judged abnormal when the signal Vid shows the second case in the case when the output Vth of the throttle-valve opening-degree detector is the first predetermined value or less and/or when the signal Vid shows the first case in the case when the above-described output Vth is the second predetermined value (>the first predetermined value) or above. |
