摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the shock to the side of a car body at the time of sudden acceleration by delaying the ignition timing indicated by the ignition signal at that time once by a set angle for increasing the combustion pressure smoothly within a fixed time when the car is suddenly accelerated. CONSTITUTION:When a car is suddenly accelerated within the idling area of an engine, an acceleration switch 13 interlocked with a throttle valve 15 is switched off to generate a sudden acceleration signal SA, and thereby, a delay angle voltage generating circuit 12 in an igniter unit 9 generates a delay angle signal SV. Then, a delay angle circuit 10 compensates an ignition signal S generated from a pickup 8 for a fixed time t thereafter, and generates a compensated ignition signal S1. On the basis of this compensated ignition signal, an ignition plug 17 generates sparks at the ignition timing deviated to the side of the delay angle via an igniter 11, an ignition coil 3, and a distributor 2. After a fixed time t, the delay angle circuit 10 is stopped, and the operation is transferred to the ordinary ignition.
