Types of dyes specified are disperse, acid, direct, reactive, basic and mordant dyes, acids specified are sulphamic, oxalic, catric, tartaric, glycolic and lactic acid. When the above compositions are added to water the evolution of carbon dioxide effects dissolution or dispersion of the dye without the necessity for stirring or heating. The dye component may also act as the acid or base component, that is the dye may be in the free acid form or as a carbonate or bicarbonate salt of a cationic dyestuff. |
