The time-setting device comprises a clutch pinion (5) which either drives a contact bridle (19) or meshes with a connecting wheel (31). The operating stem (1) on which the clutch pinion (5) is mounted can take three notched axial positions: a first, depressed is a neutral position, a second, pulled out relative to the first, allows correction of the hour hand via the connecting wheel (31) and a third, pulled out relative to the second, allows the setting to time of the minute and second hands. The contact bridle (19) includes an arm (25) which can come into repeated contacts either with a first terminal (29), or with a second terminal (30) depending on the direction of rotation of the stem. A breaker device (15, 33) is triggered when the stem is in its third position for activating the contacts formed by the terminals (29, 30) and the arm (25). <IMAGE>
