PURPOSE:To form a device in a compact size further enable its speed change to be surely operated in no relation to the direction of rotation, by providing a braking means, which comprises concentrical ring-shaped cylinders and pistons, in a position corresponding to the side face of internal gears and carriers. CONSTITUTION:A braking means comprising cylinders 10A-10C and pistons 11A-11C is provided in a very small space in the peripheral edge part of a carrier 7 and the width part of internal gears 8B, 8C, but large brake force is obtained because pressing faces 11a-11c of the pistons 11A-11C are spread in a large belt-shape in the peripheral direction. Further the pistons 11A-11C and the cylinders 10A-10C, being formed in a ring-shape, can be easily machined by a lathe also into high accuracy without causing any leakage of oil. |
