PURPOSE:To improve the image pickup resolution as well as the reduction of the photoelectric conversion sensitivity, by forming a photodetecting part of a radiometer with plural 1-dimensional charge coupled devices and adding synchronously the image pickup outputs given from a specific number of devices of the same pickup object section. CONSTITUTION:The 1-dimensional charge coupled devices 1-1-1-3 are provided as photoelectric conversion elements at a photodetecting part 25 of a radiometer, and these devices are arrayed with prescribed spaces within a prescribed plane opposite to a pickup object. The part 25 delivers (n) units of image pickup signals (n>1) in a prescribed cycle. The output of the part 25 is applied to delay circuits 2-1 and 2-2 of an image pickup signal delay means 26, and a specific delay time is given to the image pickup signal delivered for each electronic scan in terms of a prescribed relative speed and a prescribed space of array. The output of the means 26 and the image pickup output given from the device 1-3 are added to an image pickup signal adding means 3 to be added together synchronously for each same pickup object section. In such a way, the image pickup resolution is improved. |
