The assembly comprises two sheets of glass 1, 2 adhesively bonded together by means of a film 3 of plastic material. The film 3 is made of a polyurethane resin obtained by reaction between a polycaprolactone with a molecular weight of between approximately 500 and approximately 2000, an alpha,omega-alkylene glycol with two to six carbon atoms and 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate or 4,4'-dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate. Use especially for producing windscreens, bulletproof and burglarproof panels or for adhesively bonding the bases of rear-view mirrors to the internal surface of windscreens. <IMAGE>
