PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of any change in a characteristic and to improve durability, by a method wherein, in a device which is used as a throttle for internal combustion engine, the device is constituted such that abrasion powder produced at each part is prevented from entering a check valve and/or an orifice part. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm 10 is secured to a rod 1 mating inwardly with a resin collar 19, and forms a pressure chamber A togetherwith an upper cover 11. On the upper cover 11, a check valve 18 and a plate 13, forming an orifice, are disposed. A spring 5 is located between a guide 6, fastened to a lower cover 7, and a stripper 3 supported by the rod 1. Parts, where abrasion powder is produced, include, for example, a surface, where the spring 5 makes contact with the guide 6 and the stripper, and a surface, where the stripper 3 makes contact with the guide 6. Abrasion powder from said parts is isolated by a diaphragm 10, and this prevents the occurrence of a change in the characteristic of the check valve 18 or the orifice of the plate 13. |
