The present invention concerns thermal fuses for wheels equipped with pneumatic tyres. The fuse for the wheel is arranged in a wheel comprising a rim made of a material of low thermal conductivity, and is constituted by a base body 11 in which is made a conduit 12 the passage through which is controllable by detection means 15. It is characterised by the fact that it comprises means 16 for sensing the temperature which exists around the body and means 20 for thermally linking these sensor means.
