Recording apparatus for low-intensity variable electric currents, comprising means 6 to 10 for driving a recording medium at a predetermined speed, electrodes for picking off a signal to be recorded and an input amplifier 2 for the signals supplied from the electrodes. The apparatus further comprises a slaving circuit 4 linked to the input amplifier 2 in order to control a DC low-inertia motor 5, as a function of the signal to be recorded, and the writing means 11 comprise an ink reservoir 14, a capillary tube 13 and a felt tip 12 and are mounted on the geared motor assembly associated with said DC motor 5.
