PURPOSE:To enable to perform stable operation, by providing a water-injection pipe equipped with a discharge regulator means in a manner such that its top end is faced to the interior of a blow pipe or tuyere, and controlling the injection amount of water so that the temp. of molten pig iron at each tap hole is made consistent with a control value. CONSTITUTION:In the humidity-conditioning operation of a blast furnace having a plurality of tap holes in which the adjustment of furnace heat is exclusively performed by charged coke without the injection of fuel through the tuyeres, a water-injection pipe 10 having a discharge regulator means 8 is provided, for instance, in a state faced to the interior of the tuyere 1. Hereon, on the basis of the difference in the temp. of molten pig iron between the tap holes, the amount of water to be injected through the tuyere 1 corresponding to the tap hole at which the deviation of the temp. of the molten pig iron from a control value is large is adjusted to make the temp. of the molten pig iron at each tap hole uniform. |
