<p>A method of inputting operating information to a numerical control device performing predetermined numerical control on the basis of numerical control program data and operating information comprises the steps of pressing a key on a keyboard to indicate the start of the setting of operating information, displaying characters of various operating information items (MODE, HANDLE, AXIS, HANDLE *10, ....) and selecting items (MDI, AUTO, EDIT, HNDL, JOG, ZRN; HX, HZ, ....) on the screen of a display unit according to the indication of the start of setting the operating information, then positioning a first cursor (CSR) in the operating information column which is to be set, thereafter positioning a second cursor (MSC, HAC, HMC, ...) at the operating item indicated by the first cursor, and identifying the operating information by the positions of the first and second cursors. </p> |
