The metallic connecting piece (10) having a galvanised surface has a plate (18) and two tongues (20, 21), which are mutually opposite said plate and are folded back with respect to one another in such a manner that their end edges (22, 23) and the region of the plate (18) adjacent thereto form a groove (24). The insulating wire (30) (lead) which is wound on the connecting piece (10) is located in the obliquely arranged groove (24). Subsequently, the connecting piece (10) and the wire (30) are joined together by means of electrical resistance welding to form an electrical connection.
