Process for the production of heat-fusible and cold-hardenable printing inks including microcapsules

In a process for the production of a heat-fusible and cold-hardenable printing ink including microcapsules of a wax-dispersed type, which is based on preparing an aqueous dispersion of microcapsules which contain an oily substance which contains a dyestuff precursor for use in carbonless copying papers in dissolved form, drying the aqueous microcapsule dispersion and dispersing the dried microcapsules in a wax, the dried microcapsules, if an organic high polymer powder of the said aqueous microcapsule dispersion is added, are uniformly dispersed in a short period of time by means of a gentle stirring force. In this way, a homogeneous printing ink including microcapsules can be obtained.
